The previous section clearly shows that InterCom is providing ISP type services within its VPN to its customers; therefore, it has the potential to carry a substantial amount of routing information between its sites. In our example, InterCom receives the entire Internet routing table from its upstream ISP within the London site. It also receives routing information from each of its Internet end-customers. All of this routing information needs to be distributed between the InterCom London and Brussels CE routers by the EuroCom backbone; this includes end-customer routes and full Internet routing.
