Mechanical and Electrical Disassembly of the RC Car
Chapter Outline
In order to modify the RC car that we’ve chosen, we’ll first have to do a little disassembly and then, once that’s done, examine the wiring and other electrical functions. We can do this just by inspection and by “ringing out” connections – using the multimeter in its “ohm” setting – to determine what’s connected to what. This really doesn’t require much in the way of electronics knowledge, so it’s okay to consider this now, even before the chapters that deal with electronic operations.
