Distributed Multi-Antenna SAR Antenna Synchronization

Besides time and phase synchronization, antenna synchronization (spatial synchronization, i.e., the receiving and transmitting antennas must simultaneously illuminate the same region on the ground) is also required for distributed multi-antenna SAR systems. There are two parameters on the transmitter side, which have a high influence on the time during which the area of interest can be illuminated. The first parameter is the velocity of the transmitter platform, which is very high relative to the receiver platform's velocity.
