The main purpose of this book is to explain and demonstrate an easy-to-use, effective methodology for making multiobjective decisions under uncertainty. The methodology described in this book covers many practical decisions, but there are circumstances in which the methodology needs to be extended. For example, this book covers decisions in which there are a relatively small number of alternatives, the uncertainties among the evaluation measures are independent of one another, and the decision is made at one point in time.
