Technology and translation

Abstract

Information and Communication Technologies have evolved to provide a wide range of tools and resources, both of general purpose and of specialist purpose, that can help multilingual information professionals to improve their productivity and efficiency. This chapter presents a review of the computer-based tools available for professional translation settings and evidences of their use by the community of practice.
