The idea for this book emerged from a course that I helped create in 2003 and have been teaching ever since. Digital Media Convergence, or DMC as the students like to call it, is a rapid-fire survey course that introduces students to foundational concepts and skills used across a wide range of multimedia technologies and design and production workflows.
