The study of webpages is, of course, well established in areas ranging from students’ theses to professional consumer research (e.g.,Nielsen and Loranger 2006). Webpages are one of the most obvious manifestations of the growth of multimodal communication and the co-deployment of information in any form that the depicting medium can support, which is a very broad spectrum indeed.
