If you’ve flipped through this book before settling in to read it, you’ve seen that it uses illustrated step-by-step tutorials to help you learn how to use your Apple TV. Most of those illustrations are screenshots from the Apple TV that match what you’ll see when performing the tasks.

One key area in which there are no screenshots is using the Apple TV’s remote control. The remote is pretty familiar in most ways—buttons turn on the Apple TV, raise and lower the volume, play or pause video—but there’s one big difference: the touchpad at the top.
