Enlarging Text on the Screen
If you have a large screen, text and icons may look tiny because your Macintosh tries to display as much information as possible. If icons and text appear too small, you can lower the resolution of your screen. Another way to enlarge icons and text is to zoom in on the screen, which enlarges the screen like a magnifying glass.
Increasing the Font Size
In case you find text on your screen too small to read comfortably, many programs allow you to customize the text size. In the Finder, you can magnify text by doing this:
