Setting Up SQL Server

his appendix demonstrates how to install, configure, and create a small database in Microsoft SQL Server 2012 to test the MySQL Workbench migration utility. My examples use Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Express Edition because that version is free to download and deploy with a database instance of up to 8GB. You can also use the commercial version of the product.
