Creating a new HTTP service
In this recipe, we'll create a new service to check on an existing host. Specifically, we'll check our sparta.example.net server to verify that it's responding to HTTP requests on the usual HTTP TCP port of 80. To do this, we'll be using a predefined command called check_http, which in turn uses one of the standard set of Nagios Core plugins, also called check_http.
