How do individuals build trust in each other? How do we inspire ourselves and each other to keep our commitments? How do we move forward together when each of us has such a unique and different perspective? These questions become incredibly real when it comes to ambitious teams that aspire to do great work together. How do we negotiate a profound diversity of perspectives? Is negotiate even the right word? How do we go from a cacophony of individual opinions to the harmony of a team? Believe me, the more high-performing independent-minded individuals that are part of any team, the more urgent these issues become.

Shifting Mindset is about embracing a team's diversity of perspectives and transforming it from a debilitating liability into a tremendous asset. But this means developing new agreements to support each other, be accountable, and coachable. In a sense, Shifting Mindset is less about what the team does, or will do, and more about who they are.
