I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Throughout most of 2020, people were confined to their homes, sheltering in place. Though the government provided some assistance in the form of additional and extended unemployment benefits, and stimulus checks, a great many people were unable to return to their jobs, mostly confined to their homes for a large part of 2020. Many of their erstwhile jobs went from the status of temporary furlough to permanent layoff status as consumer demand cratered and companies sought to downsize and reduce their capacity to avoid the bankruptcies that were accelerating with the pandemic-induced recession.
