It was 1993 and I was in high school. Nirvana, Aerosmith, and Boys II Men were heard constantly on the radio. No, I didn’t have big hair—that was the 80s—but I did have a car and it needed gas. I was willing to work just about any job for gas and going out money. I also had a fair amount of old Star Wars toys, Nintendo games, and of course many somewhat valuable baseball cards.
