Q4.1 What are the duties of a business analyst?
A4.1 The business analyst (BA) champions the client. She is the client’s advocate, and she:
  • Defines and maintains focus on the client’s requirements—the problems to be solved

  • Owns the business-process direction designed into the product

  • Manages client expectations

  • Drives the production of work that meets minimum requirements

  • Ensures the product, service, or result satisfies the client’s business needs

  • Is a catalyst for resolving business-related product problems and conflicts.
