Create the Desired Culture for Your Project

Most projects are in need of a major “culture” makeover. Members are uncertain about the behavior expected of them. Their uncertainty covers all aspects of a project, such as roles and responsibilities, planning, tracking, problem management, processes, interpersonal communications, and accountability. Members commonly complain about the unproductive culture within which they must work. Furthermore, a pervasive myth is that the only way to change the culture within a project is for the direction to come from higher management.
