The first thing Sean noticed when he entered the conference room was Jayla standing in the corner of the room. With her hands on her hips, she loudly told Pierre, “We will not accept the terms of that client! There is no reason for us to modify our agreement. They need us, and they know it.” Jayla shook her finger in Pierre's face as she made her points. “I will not tolerate being jerked around. It is time to remind them of how desperately they need our services and we will not deviate from our agreement.”

Sean realized how upset Jayla was as he watched the conversation. “I would hate to be on the receiving end of that temper,” he thought. “I wonder if Jayla is ready to lose this client.”
