Summary

This chapter briefly described the Common Type System that allows programs that are written in many different languages to seamlessly communicate everything from simple types to more complex types and values. The CTS is a core part of the Common Language Runtime. This chapter also provided guidelines for naming your types and values so that your code is portable and easily maintained.
