7. Lighting

It turns out that lighting is extremely important when it comes to making our AR scenes look realistic. For example, if it is a bright day but we place a dark object in the scene, it looks very artificial; conversely, the same can be said for placing a very light object in a dark environment. So where possible we want to take the real-world lighting conditions into consideration in our scene.

Another consideration for creating realistic AR experiences is shadows.
