About Our Research
Academic Background
This book is an outcome of close to 40 years of collective academic research on alliances. Together, we have published about 30 studies on alliances in leading academic peer-reviewed journals. We have interviewed many executives and taught hundreds of executive program participants at INSEAD (France/Singapore/Abu Dhabi/Moscow) and the University of Toronto between 2000 and 2012.
Table A.1 summarizes selected studies that were published in the academic journals. These studies guided us in creating the frameworks in this book.
