I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Emerging standard NDC frameworks, bearing many similarities in design and service level, enable a new generation of applications. The degree of interoperability provided by these frameworks both supports and limits the evolution of application development. As in any evolving fitscape, novelty is persistently explored; optional NDC frameworks providing interesting fitscape survival characteristics await discovery.
Vanilla Web Services (those represented by the WUS family of interfaces—WSDL, UDDI, and SOAP) provide an extensible NDC framework for application development. XML ostensibly provides a degree of baked-in interoperability. But without additional layers of definition, too much is left to vendor ...
