So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Even as new frameworks emerge, NDC is beginning to embrace computing at the edge of the network: increasingly smaller devices, wireless datacom capabilities, and real-time EmNets represent a fundamental shift in networking. The closer to the edge we get, the greater the extent to which real-time network sensibilities will have an impact on NDC frameworks and programming.
Real-time computing is orthogonal to NDC; at least, that's been the traditional view. With latency issues, speed of light constraints, and indeterminacy, as noted by Deutsch's fallacies, the needs of real-time computing, especially hard real-time, cannot be met in such an environment. And yet ...
