This appendix provides multiple options for troubleshooting network problems that involve switches. Because there are many different types of switches and many different ways to configure them, the various choices available for troubleshooting switches are accompanied with pros and cons to help determine whether the troubleshooting approach is suitable for the current problem symptoms.
