Software Reconfiguration

This chapter discusses the question: Why should we employ software reconfigurability for vehicle communications?1 Looking at software reconfigurability for radio systems in general, there is a clear trend in the telecommunication industry to evolve from classical, static radio systems toward reconfigurable radio systems (RRS).
