Ed Williams is the Managing Director of The Elite Swimming Academy. He started the business in 2006 when he was just 20 years old and now employs 18 swimming teachers and four admin assistants. They teach over 1,000 people a week and have an annual turnover of £600,000.
What made you decide to start your business? It was accidental, it really started as a hobby business just to keep some money coming in when my previous boss couldn’t afford to keep me on and was never intended to be a long time career.
