Chapter 5: Natural convection in a nanofluid flow

Abstract

In this chapter, the natural convection flow of a non-Newtonian nanofluid between two vertical parallel plates has been studied. Galerkin’s method has been employed to handle the governing differential equations for the considered problem. We have used Legendre polynomials to construct the trial solutions of the governing equations. Further, the Gram-Schmidt orthogonalization process has been used to orthogonalize the terms in the assumed series solutions.
