It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

What conclusions can be drawn from the experiences of the 25 leaders profiled in these pages? Are some leadership attributes “better” than others? Is there one definition of leadership that is a template for those seeking to become leaders themselves? The individuals in this book would most likely say that the secret of their success is as old and obvious as the ancient Greek injunction to “Know Thyself” (and thy company). In the same way that good negotiators adapt the principles of successful negotiation to their own personalities and goals, good leaders pay close attention to what their own experiences and instincts tell them is the right thing to do and the right time to do it. ...
