Most people who go to work want to feel that their effort is worthwhile, but sometimes other people can get in the way and the subsequent behaviour fails to have the desired effect. Where you have any group of people working together, you are likely to have differences of opinion and conflict as well as co-operation. What’s important is to not let each and every situation get to you, but to deal with the way you are thinking about it. Progress can be impeded because people are slaves to their thinking and the more they think about a situation in the same way, the more entrenched the problem becomes for them.
