How to do it...

The first thing we need to do is download the MongoDB Docker container using the docker pull command.

Let's execute the following command:

$ docker pull mongo 

This will pull the official MongoDB image from the central Docker Hub repository.

MongoDB and Node We cover MongoDB in detail in the Storing and Retrieving Data with MongoDB in Chapter 6, Persisting to Databases holds.

Once the download has completed we can verify that the image is available by running:

$ docker images 

This command will list all of the images that are available on the local machine. We should see the MongoDB image in this list.

Now that we have a MongoDB container available we can update our Fuge configuration file for the system.
