A CONCEPTUAL FRAMEWORK FOR NPR

The previous chapters gave an overview of a variety of techniques that have been developed in NPR over the last few years. The field has developed thanks to the joint efforts of many researchers, and progress has been obtained in many different directions. It is not always clear to see the relations between one result and another, and the identification of promising open areas is therefore not trivial. Still, it may be expected that a further exploration of the field will add numerous new algorithms and paradigms.
