CHAPTER 26Configuring GroupWise Authentication via LDAP

GroupWise client authentication can be configured to use an LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) directory as the authentication method for accessing a GroupWise mailbox. The LDAP protocol is a means for getting information from a “directory” type database. In the case of GroupWise, LDAP is used for login credential information so that users can authenticate to GroupWise and access their mailboxes.
