CHAPTER 20 Using ZENworks Handheld Inventory
This chapter discusses ZENworks Handheld Inventory: how it is collected and how you can retrieve information from the inventory. ZENworks Handheld Inventory is activated automatically when a workstation receives the agents and is registered with eDirectory. Unlike other components of ZENworks, handheld management does not require that any policies be configured to collect inventory information.
To collect hardware and software information, make sure that the import policy is activated on your handheld services (see Chapter 15, “Setting Up Handheld Policies,” for more details).
