CHAPTER 24 Setting Up Tiered Electronic Distribution (TED)
This chapter discusses the construction, deployment, and administration of the ZENworks Tiered Electronic Distribution (TED) subsystem. As part of ZENworks, TED provides a mechanism to enable you to reliably transmit files from server to server throughout your entire network, independent of eDirectory trees and server platforms. TED is designed to be a high-end distribution service that can handle the complexity of a large network made up of multiple eDirectory trees as well as NetWare, Linux, Windows, and Solaris servers.
