Frantz Fanon (1925–61)
INTRODUCTION
Frantz Fanon led the groundwork for the development of post-colonial studies. His ideological orientation can be understood from his own statement that ‘what matters is not to know the world but to change it’. In his political thought, he unmasked the psychological reality of Colonialism to the world. He originally belongs to the French Colony Martinique which is a part of the Caribbean Islands. Throughout his life, he remained a revolutionary leader and was famously known as an Algerian political theorist.
