Why Do Law School Deans Send Each Other Junk Mail?
The University of Michigan launched a special admissions program to its law school in September 2008. This Wolverine Scholars Program targeted the top sliver of Michigan undergraduates, those with a 3.80 cumulative grade point average (GPA) or higher at the Ann Arbor campus, allowing them to apply to the ninth-ranked law school as soon as they finish junior year, before the competition opens up to applicants from other universities.
