The present text is intended to provide a fairly substantial ground in interpolation, numerical differentiation and integration, least square approximation, numerical solution of non-linear equations, system of linear equation, ordinary and partial differential equations, and eigenvalue problems. Various numerical methods have been described technically and their convergence and error propagation have been studied. Most of these methods are implemented efficiently in computers. Programs, in C language, for important and typical methods have been provided in the last chapter.
