The art department has the opportunity to rent and handle some of the most beautiful and intriguing items used on a film. The department must transport everything from unique props to striking set decorations to fake walls. Regardless of whether you’re packing a prop truck, sharing space on the grip truck, or using a minivan, there’s a great deal of responsibility in effectively hauling and securing loads. It can be a critical skill to master and one that should be taken seriously.
