The most common type of make-up for film differs from everyday make-up since it’s generally supposed to make the actor or actress look “normal” or as if they aren’t wearing make-up. In the film industry, this is known as flat make-up. A majority of all make-up applied is flat make-up. Effects make-up, which is fascinating to many people, occupies only a small part of the needs of the movie-making community.
