Setting database initialization parameters
In Chapter 3, Creating the Oracle Database, we introduced the concept of database initialization parameters. We said that these parameters can be used to control nearly every aspect of database operations. In this section, we examine the concept of the parameter file and learn how to change initialization parameters.
