I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
How to do it...
- Open Accounting Dashboard, you will see all the journals that we have created: State Bank of India and Axis Bank:
The Axis Bank journal is newly created, and we do not have a balance initialized in the Odoo journal. But for State Bank of India, we have initialized the balance in the opening entries. This is the reason behind the difference of 32,800 which you can see in the preceding screenshot.
There are two balances displayed in the Bank or Cash journals: Balance in Ledger and balance according to the Last Statement:
