Chapter 3. Jazz Up Your Work with Word

The thrust behind the design of this new version of Word is to enable users to spend less time formatting their documents and more time writing. To that end, this version of Word includes several tools to expedite formatting your document. For example, Word's Drop Cap feature enables you to draw your reader's attention to your text by enlarging the first letter of a paragraph.

Other Word tools help you save time by generating special elements for your documents.
