Being able to crunch numbers or build database tables is of little use if the data is difficult or impossible for others to comprehend.

Fortunately, you can mitigate this by using Excel's formatting tools. For example, you can apply themes to your workbooks to create a more polished and professional look, as well as add colors, patterns, and borders to cells to make them stand out. You can even use digital images as backgrounds in your worksheets.
