Chapter 16

Getting Up to Speed and Taking Notes

In this chapter, I'll show you how to get started with OneNote, Office's powerful program for recording, storing, and manipulating information. With OneNote, you can record many types of information—from text and pictures to audio and video—in notebooks, organize it however you need, and then export finished notes to other programs.

This chapter brings you up to speed with OneNote, showing you how to get around the OneNote interface and how to capture and view your information. The following two chapters explain how to organize your information, share it with other people, and export it for use with the other Office programs.
