Setting Up Outlook and Meeting the Interface

In this part of the book, you'll learn to use Outlook, Office's heavy-duty e-mail and organizer program.

Outlook covers four main areas:

  • Mail. Outlook calls it Mail, but most of us call it e-mail—and it's the most important part of Outlook. We'll cover e-mail in Chapter 24: “Sending and Receiving E-mail.”
  • Contacts. Outlook provides a powerful digital address book for storing the details of your contacts and keeping in touch with them. Chapter 25: “Managing Your Contacts with Outlook” explains how to work with contacts in Outlook.
