Choosing the Most Important Options for OneNote

To customize OneNote, you choose settings for the many options in the OneNote Options dialog box. In this section, we'll look at the settings that make the most difference to the way you work in OneNote; I'll leave you to investigate the other settings at your leisure.

Start by clicking the File tab to open Backstage view, and then clicking the Options button to display the OneNote Options dialog box. When the dialog box opens, the General pane appears at the front. Set the General options as discussed in Chapter 6: “Making the Office Programs Work Your Way.” You can then set other options as discussed in this section.
