Creating Custom Styles
If you find that Word's styles don't meet your needs, you can either create custom styles of your own or customize the built-in styles to make them suitable.
In this section, I'll show you the easiest way to create a custom style, which is called by example—you set up text with the formatting you want, and then create the style from it. In passing, I'll show you how to create a new style by specifying its formatting in the Create New Style from Formatting dialog box.
