Revising a Document

To create documents, you'll often need to work with other people. As you saw in Chapter 5: “Coauthoring in Real Time and Sharing Documents,” you can use Word's coauthoring feature to work on a document with your colleagues in real time. But it's often easier for you and your colleagues to work on documents individually at a time convenient for each of you.

To do so, you can track changes using the Track Changes feature or insert comments in the document. You can then review the changes and, if necessary, compare or combine different edits of the same document.
