Working with Quick Parts
As we create documents, we are always looking for shortcuts and timesavers that help us work more efficiently. The Quick Parts feature gives you access to premade document-building blocks, your own AutoText entries, document properties, and Word fields. Inserting document parts, information, or words and phrases that you use often not only saves you time, but also keeps information consistent in your document or documents.
So what is a building block, compared to an AutoText entry? Building blocks are any words, text lines, paragraphs, or even entire pages that you save as a building block.
