Configuring Outlook at First Start

When you run Outlook for the first time, you have the opportunity to configure your email account. When configuring your email account, Outlook also creates a profile that contains your email account information, the location of your data files, and the location where your emails reside. We discuss Outlook profiles in the next section, but it should be made clear at this point that the profile created is closely associated with the first email account that you create in Outlook.
