Working with Master Pages

The term master page was already introduced in our discussion of page setup attributes such as margins and page orientation. When you create a new publication, whether based on a blank template or a preformatted template, Publisher creates a master page that supplies basic page-formatting attributes to the pages in the publication. If you are creating a simple publication that consists of pages with the same formatting, this single master page approach (meaning that every page uses the master page settings) can probably work for you.
